... my dear husband wakes up with the lil' sprouts and gets them ready for the day, even at the wee hour of five o'clock in the morning.
i love that the first thing the lil' sprouts do upon awakening is head for the color pencils, crayons, and sheets of paper.
i love that the lil' sprouts want to and enjoy making gifts for people, and that going out to buy something never crosses their minds.
i love that the foundation of our lives to live creatively is the Rule of Six in which we strive to include in each of our days meaningful work, imaginative play, good books, beauty (art, music, nature), ideas to ponder and discuss, and prayer. (HT: Melissa Wiley)
i love that Miss Girl stands up straight, looks at her feet, and asks "wanna see how tall is me?"
i love that while Miss Girl is in gymnastics class, i get to spend one hour outside with Little Man traipsing around campus, building gnome homes at the base of trees, collecting seed pods and pine cones, and making up games like throwing rocks into dug-out holes.
i love that the lil' sprouts instinctively know that the beginning of one's life is the very moment he or she is created.
i just love that.
